About this fragrance
Saffron gives the first spray its warmth while sugar softens it and mandarin brightens the edges. Soon tonka bean and Damask rose step forward, creamy and floral, with agarwood laying a deeper woody line underneath. In the drydown, amberwood, caramel and cedar take over, smooth and rounded, growing softer and warmer as the hours pass.
Rated at eight to ten hours or more, it carries well from early evening into the night. The character is bold contrast handled gently: sweet against woody, warmth against rose. It belongs to autumn and winter, to dinners, gatherings and evenings out, and it rewards a light hand rather than many sprays.
