The composition
How Fawah Midnight unfolds on skin, from the first spray to the dry-down.
About this fragrance
It opens with burnt sugar, apricot blossom and cardamom, sticky and bright at once. The heart turns darker as cinnamon, incense, bark and cashmeran add heat and a dry, resinous edge. The base is the richest part: leather and suede, cacao and ambergris, with patchouli giving an earthy depth that holds it together.
Rated at eight to twelve hours, it has real presence and needs only a couple of sprays. It is at its best in autumn and winter, on cold nights out, in bars and at special occasions where a bold trail feels right. Keep it for after dark; in a warm office it would be too much.
