Interlude

The first spray is sharp and herbal, bergamot brightening oregano while pimento berry oil adds a peppery warmth. The heart is thick and resinous: amber, frankincense, cistus and opoponax, dense and glowing. As the hours pass it dries towards leather and agarwood smoke, grounded by patchouli and sandalwood, deep and slightly dry on the skin.
