About this fragrance
As the labdanum opens, Oud Imperious's amber-resinous veil pulls you into its core. It smells strong but not overwhelming, and you can smell it right away. The love story between rose and patchouli is well known, but saffron makes it more interesting. The scent is more appealing because it has soft flower notes and mysterious earthy ingredients. You stay in the woods because of the base. The oud is strong, but the smoothness of rosewood and the sharpness of cedar make it softer. That three-wood smell is strong but not too strong, and it lasts a long time.
