The first minutes are all citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange, sharp and sunny. Tunisian neroli then softens the heart, while Nigerian ginger and Ceylon cinnamon add heat. In the drydown, Chinese black tea brings a dry, slightly bitter calm, and ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood give a warm, resinous finish that sits close.

Bright at the top and grounded underneath, it moves easily from day into night. Wear it to the office, on a weekend walk or out to dinner; it suits casual clothes as readily as a jacket. The tea and olibanum keep the citrus from feeling thin, which gives it a composed, grown-up character.
