About this fragrance
Bergamot gives a bright, citrusy first impression. Soon the heart takes shape, with saffron and black pepper adding heat, pear a soft juiciness, and elemi and rose a resinous floral note. The base is deep and enveloping: amber and vanilla warm the skin, while sandalwood, patchouli and musk lay down a lasting, woody foundation.
Its spicy, oriental character feels most at home in the cooler months, layered under a coat or a tailored jacket. It suits evenings out, celebrations and formal dinners, yet the bergamot opening keeps it wearable for daytime too. Apply to pulse points and let the amber and sandalwood base develop slowly over the hours.
