About this fragrance
The first breath is herbal and cool, clary sage sharpened by lavender. In the heart, bitter almond brings a soft bite, leather adds texture and vanilla adds warmth, while orris lends a powdery touch. The base returns to leather, now joined by tonka bean, cashmeran, white woods and amber for a deep, smooth finish.
Its character is bold and refined, a little mysterious. Rated at six to eight hours, it holds well through an evening. Autumn and winter suit it best, when the leather and amber feel at home: dinners, nights out, the theatre or a cold-weather weekend away.
