About this fragrance
The sensory experience starts with an opening act that is incredibly complicated and powerful. It releases a strong, boozy wave of premium rum, dry myrrh, and rich olibanum (incense) all at the same time. The exotic spices of fine saffron, warm coriander, and a crisp squeeze of sweet orange and lime make it even better.
The heart changes into a very rich, soothing, and slightly sweet core as this dramatic beginning starts to breathe and adjust to the skin's natural chemistry. The strong resins melt into a special middle phase that is fuelled by smoky barley and dark roasted coffee. A thin layer of sweet plum, exotic frangipani, narcissus, artemisia, and soft rose petals makes this phase more delicate.
During a very intense and spectacular dry down phase, the scent reaches its peak. The strong boozy and coffee notes were firmly rooted on a beautiful base of real Madagascar vanilla, rough suede (leather), and dark tobacco. Structural mahogany wood, earthy patchouli, oakmoss, and soft violet notes added to the depth of the scent.
