As they fade, the heart turns soft and romantic: coconut gives a smooth, creamy texture, while gardenia, peony and orange blossom add sweetness and petal-soft warmth. Finally, sandalwood, musk and amber settle in, giving the composition a deep and sensual base.

Rated at six to eight hours, it suits autumn, winter and spring. Its sophisticated, enticing character makes it well suited to evening parties and private dinners, where its warmth can unfold slowly. In very warm weather, a lighter hand with the spray is wise, as the coconut and amber can grow in the heat.
