About this fragrance
There is no bright top here: cocoa and oud set a deep, earthy tone from the first spray. The heart brings patchouli, smoothed by caramel and saffron, with a little rose to keep it balanced and add a gentle floral lift. The base turns darker again, with frankincense and leather lending depth, and a tart touch of black currant cutting through the sweetness.
Rated at nine to eleven hours, it lasts well into the night. Its bold, mysterious character is at home in autumn and winter, and it suits evening wear and special occasions: a formal dinner, a gala or a late celebration. Apply sparingly, as a little goes a long way.
