About this fragrance
Musamam's first spray introduces you to a beautiful mix of saffron, Italian mandarin, and lavender. These ingredients cut through the opening with brightness, spice, and a floral-aromatic edge that grabs attention and sets a rich tone.
As it settles, the scent changes to a heart of amberwood, Virginia cedar, and geranium. These mid notes make the scent stronger. Cedar and amberwood add warmth and a woody texture, while geranium adds a soft floral note that makes the transition between the top's brightness and the base's dark intensity smoother.
Musamam's dry-down shows Akigalawood, incense, and labdanum. These three things come together to make the scent's main character: a smoky, resinous, rich leather tone with a warm, mysterious, almost snake-like quality. The base is what stays on skin and fabric the longest, leaving a strong, lasting mark.
