About this fragrance
The opening is heady: rum and amaretto give a nutty, boozy warmth, cut through by a flash of mandarin. In the heart, caramel and amber turn the blend soft and golden, while patchouli keeps it from tipping into pure dessert. The drydown rests on sandalwood, vanilla and benzoin, smooth, resinous and buttery on the skin.
Its character is indulgent and warm, made for autumn and winter. Rated at eight to ten hours, it carries through a long evening without needing a top-up. Wear it for dinners, parties, formal events and celebrations, when a richer scent feels right. A couple of sprays on the neck and chest is plenty in a warm room.
