About this fragrance
The top is busy and bright: elemi and frankincense with Sichuan pepper and cardamom, lifted by bergamot and lemon. In the heart, saffron, anise, coriander and cumin meet rose, geranium and orange blossom, with patchouli and wormwood beneath. The base is deep and layered, with oud, birch, ambergris, opoponax and labdanum, softened by benzoin, vanilla, maltol and musk.
This is a fragrance with presence, best for the colder months. Rated at eight to ten hours, it suits evening wear and special occasions: a formal dinner, a celebration or a night at the theatre. Apply sparingly, as the frankincense and woody base build steadily, and let it settle for a few minutes before heading out.
