About this fragrance
The opening is aromatic and dark-edged: incense and cardamon, herbal basil and a lift of bergamot. In the heart, tobacco brings a warm, dry richness, fenugreek a curious, toasted sweetness and lavender a calming aromatic thread. The base settles into Peru balsam and tonka bean, warmed by amber and deepened by oud for a long, smooth finish.
The character is complex and full of contrast, dark and velvety at once. It moves from day to night with ease, though it is at its best on cool evenings, at dinners and on special occasions. Its depth also makes it a thoughtful gift for anyone drawn to richer, layered compositions.
