About this fragrance
At first the violet leaf feels sharp and slightly earthy, smoothed straight away by soft sandalwood. Once that settles, mandarin comes forward and gives the blend a gentle sparkle. The base is where it gains strength: cedar brings a dry, woody line and patchouli adds earthy warmth to the finish.
The character is polished and modern, a composed woody aromatic that never shouts. Rated at six to eight hours, it works in every season and comes into its own after dark: dinners, theatre nights and late drinks. It is equally at ease on a weekday, worn lightly under a jacket or knitwear.
