About this fragrance
Saffron leads, warm and slightly creamy, while bitter almonds stop the opening from turning too sweet. As it settles, Egyptian jasmine comes through, set against the dry line of cedar. The base is ambergris and musk with a woody finish, and that is where the extrait spends most of its time on skin, close and glowing.
As an extrait it is concentrated, so one or two sprays go a long way. It suits evenings, dinners and celebrations, and the red bottle in its gold-labelled box makes it an easy gift. Wear it where it can be noticed up close rather than across a room.
