Spearmint gives the opening a cool lift, with cassis adding a dark, tart fruitiness. The heart is rose warmed by cinnamon, with waterlily keeping it light and watery. In the base, amber, vanilla and benzoin make a soft, sweet warmth, while leather, ambret and cedarwood add texture and a dry, woody edge.

It moves from crisp to cosy as it wears, which makes it versatile. Wear it in the daytime when the spearmint and cassis are brightest, or keep it for evenings, when the amber and leather come through. It suits dinners, celebrations and weekend plans equally well.
