About this fragrance
Bergamot brightens the first minutes, but the character comes from black currant, dark rum and amaretto, tart and sweet at once. The heart moves to amber, patchouli and sandalwood, giving the liqueur notes something earthy to rest on. Siam benzoin, vanilla and labdanum form the base, resinous and smooth.
Rated at eight to ten hours, this is a cold-weather fragrance for autumn and winter. It suits evening wear, formal dinners and special occasions, and fits a quiet night in just as naturally. Its gourmand side is grown-up rather than playful, with enough woody depth to keep it composed.
