About this fragrance
Violet opens it, soft and slightly powdery, before rose takes the heart and adds a fuller, velvety warmth. The drydown is where it does most of its work: oud and benzoin bring a resinous, smoky depth, while vanilla and ambergris smooth the edges into something rich and enveloping that stays on the skin.
Rated at eight to ten hours, it lasts well into the night. Its character is mysterious and sophisticated, with oud and vanilla in close balance. Save it for autumn and winter, for evening wear, dinners and special occasions, when a deeper, more sensual scent feels right and the cold air gives it room.
