About this fragrance
From the first spray, incense brings a smoky, resinous dryness, held in check by a firm leather note. As it settles, myrrh and patchouli take over, warm and earthy with a balsamic depth. The base pairs the structure of cedarwood with davana, whose slightly boozy, fruity tone softens the darkness and keeps the drydown rounded.
Rated at nine to eleven hours, it is a scent for autumn and winter. Dark, intense and traditional, it suits evening wear and formal events, from a winter dinner to a celebration where you want quiet authority. It starts with real presence, then settles into a deep, steady warmth.
