9pm Elixir

The start is warm and heady, with nutmeg and cardamom lifted by the bright, resinous edge of elemi. In the heart, leather gives depth, pimento adds heat and lavender a cool, herbal contrast. The drydown is the richest part: patchouli and rock rose bring an earthy depth, labdanum adds a sticky resin, and vanilla softens everything into a smooth, slightly sweet finish.

Deep and warm in character, it was made for after dark. Wear it for dinners, nights out and social occasions where a bold but composed scent suits the mood. The nutmeg and leather sit well on the skin, and a couple of sprays on the neck and chest let the vanilla base develop slowly through the evening.
